Indicative Contents المحتويات الإرشادية | 1- Definition Nutritional / counseling assessment is the interpretation of anthropometric, biochemical (laboratory), clinical and dietary data to determine whether a person or groups of people are well nourished or malnourished (over-nourished or under-nourished). 2- types there are several types including long term and short term 3- approaches centered approaches , problem solving 4- modules there are 6 modules ( behavioral and social and educational ) |

Strategies | 1-clearly definition of the topics and its objectives and pre- post test can be used to assess the feed back mechanism 2-active learning by discussion and role playing with home work discussion 3- Support the learning by using electronic methods like video- presentation and field 4- study with main concentration on the practical aspect 5- Using a simple words for understanding with brief explanation and summary at the end of the lecture |

Acquiring the necessary skills and developing knowledge for first-year students in the Therapeutic Nutrition Techniques Department to identify the body’s systems, their parts, and the function of each system. As well, as identifying the cell structure, components, and function in normal and pathological conditions. |

| At the end of the module, the student is expected to be able to: 1. Definition of physiology and pathophysiology. 2. Classification types of physiology. 3. Enumerate the cell theories 4. Differentiate between unicellular organisms and multicellular organisms. 5. Distinguish between the sizes and shapes of cells. 6. Recognizes the Prokaryotes and Eukaryotes characteristics. 7. Differentiate between the components of animal, plant, and bacterial cells. 8. Explains each part of the cell’s structure and function, represented by organelles inside the cell (Cell Membranes, Nucleus, Cytoplasm, Endoplasmic Reticulum, Golgi body, Mitochondria…etc).
